up the nasal passages while eating the soup can make you feel better right

Home Remedy #2 – Zinc and Vitamin C
Chicken soup is not
the only home remedy for cold and cough. In fact, other foods can also make you
feel better. Try to go with foods that will boost your immune system. Foods
which contain zinc and vitamin C are great for fighting the cold and cough. You
should also be drinking a lot of fluids when you get a cold. That can be water,
juice, hot tea and even milk.
Getting Through A Cold and Cough
The one symptom that
is probably the worst when you have a cold or cough is probably the sore
throat. A sore throat can actually make it hurt every time you eat or drink.
Even when you sneeze, cough or breathe, it can hurt so taking care of a sore
throat is very important. You can try having soft cold foods which can help you
with your sore throat such as jello, pudding or popsicles.
