Home Remedy #3 – Toothpaste

One of the surprising home remedies for insect bites and stings is the use of some toothpaste. The fluoride found in toothpaste will act as an antihistamine, which should help in just a few minutes. If you want to prevent infection, you can also use some mouthwash on a cotton ball. To stop the itching another thing that you can use is Preparation H, which will be more effective on the nastiest bug bites.
